According to Professor Candida Rebello from Pennington Research Centre in Louisiana, The main intention of their study was to lower the calorific content by substituting Potatoes. 

The participants of the study, found that after replacing meat with potatoes, they were filling full quickly. So, you can easily lose weight with a little effort.

The experts recruited 36 peoples in their study. They were overweight or insulin resistance. Doctors recommended them beans, peas, and meat in their diet.

In this study they were given beans, peas and potatoes replacing the meat.

Prof Rebello added: “We demonstrated that contrary to common belief, potatoes do not negatively impact blood glucose levels.”
